Purpose Prototyping
A 12-week group coaching program that will help you define the next step in your career.
If you feel a bit out of place, in transition, or unsure about your vision, this is the place for you. We will help you rethink and redesign your life so that you can do what suits, inspires, and energizes you every day.
Start date: in January 2025
Purpose Prototyping can help if…
Something doesn’t feel right about your work life. Something is missing, but you can’t put your finger on it. Whether you’re starting your career or have years of professional experience behind you, you feel like you don’t quite belong where you are at the moment. You’re looking to find a career that fits you.
Work no longer holds the excitement it once did. Perhaps you've realized that the field you're in doesn't fulfill you, your current role doesn’t challenge you anymore, or the environment at work is making your days stressful. The thought of making a change keeps coming to your mind. You’re looking to find the next right thing and the steps that will take you there.
An idea is starting to take shape in your mind, and you can see yourself building a career on it. You might already have a side project you’d like to take to the next level. You want to lay down the foundations of your strategy and consciously plan your transition from employee to entrepreneur so that you can grow your business in a sustainable way.
Why is work so important?
25% of how satisfied we are with our lives depends on our job*
*according to a study by McKinsey.
How interesting we find our job and the quality of our work relationships affect the way we feel about our lives. During a 40-hour workweek, a third of our time awake is spent with work. How we spend that time matters.
Companies often pride themselves on supporting employees with career planning. But can an annual 1-on-1 meeting with our manager actually help us envision a long-term career plan that makes us feel excited?
A career path that someone else had planned for us can be satisfying for a while, but at some point we all wonder: “am I really in the right place?”
The idea behind Purpose Prototyping
Can making a career change feel easy?
The short answer: yes! However, most of us don't experience it that way. Navigating issues around work can feel confusing, overwhelming, and stressful.
These feelings often delay our progress for months or even years. And as time passes by, we become even more stressed.
We created Purpose Prototyping to give you a path forward. It’s a framework with specific steps that will help you feel more creative and relaxed while figuring out (and actually taking!) your next steps.
Our goal is to give you a safe space for experimentation, a team to brainstorm with, and a process that brings you clarity. The tools in this program have already helped 80+ people move towards a more inspiring career path.
So the long answer is: yes, change can definitely feel easier. But it requires you to become the director of your career, not just a side character. It means taking responsibility for where you are, making conscious decisions, then taking action. That’s what we’re here to help you with.
What can you expect in Purpose Prototyping?
Purpose Prototyping is a 12-week online group coaching program that helps you find the next step in your career. Not just any old step that’s “good enough for now”, but one that’s based on your strengths, aligns with your values, and energizes you in your daily life.
“Purpose”, because we’re looking for a solution that’s meaningful to you, allows you to fully express yourself, and makes you feel like what you’re doing actually matters. This program is for you if you want more than just chasing money or fancy titles. You’ll join a community of people who are conscious of what’s happening in the world and want to utilize their strengths to make an impact.
“Prototyping”, because we won’t just sit around thinking about what you might want to do. We’re all about being practical, taking action, and getting you lots of small wins that will propel you forward. We develop several prototypes for your career or business that you can test in a safe environment so you won’t have to jump into the unknown. Whatever path you choose, you’ll be clear on what works for you and what doesn’t.
Phase 0:
Preparation
The program is intensive and requires ongoing commitment. To make sure it’s a good fit for you at this time, we ask that you jump on a short call with us after you apply. This also helps with clarifying the goals you want to work on during our 12 weeks together. If we both agree that you’re in the right place, you’ll receive preparatory exercises that will make sure you hit the ground running at the first workshop.
Phase 1:
Planning
We begin with mapping out where you are now and expanding your horizons to discover what opportunities you have for your career/business. By the end, you’ll have a clear picture of what you really want, what your priorities are, and what paths are available to you. You’ll have multiple prototypes and plans for your future.

Fine-tuning
Next, we test the paths you’ve outlined. You experiment with how to best utilize your strengths by taking action. We’ll look at the intersection of what you want and what’s out there (whether it’s the job market or your target audience). We then use these experiences to refine your plan and strategy.
Phase 3:
Implementation
The final phase is all about taking deliberate action: you’ll start taking small steps on the path you’ve chosen. We support each other week by week to give you momentum that lasts long after you complete the program. This phase is different for every cohort as we always adapt it to what will best serve the group.

The practical details
Start date:
January 2025
Application deadline: sign up and you will be among the first ones to learn about the next round
Weekly call schedule:
Saturday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (GMT+1)
If the current dates don’t work for you, but you’re interested in joining later, get notified when the next group starts.
Breakdown of the program
Our approach is based on design thinking. You can expect a playful and experimental process where the goal is to take action as soon as possible, learn from our mistakes and test things out in a safe environment. This method is effective, entertaining, and makes an otherwise frustrating process much more enjoyable.
Weekly online meetings
The backbone of the program is the weekly online meetings. The 12 sessions include different elements. There are workshops on the mindset and methodology of Purpose Prototyping, which will give you more confidence in realizing your plans. There will also be mastermind sessions where you can ask questions, get coaching when you feel stuck, reflect on your insights from the exercises, brainstorm ideas, and discuss your next steps with your group.
Preparatory exercises
Before the first session, you’ll already receive some tasks that’ll help you reflect on your relationship with work, your career so far, and what you really want. By the time you arrive at the first workshop, you’ll feel energized and know what to focus on.
A facilitated process
You’ll have the support of an experienced facilitator team and a community of inspiring people looking for a change, just like you. The prototyping process we guide you through during the program is the same one we use for our own careers/businesses, so you’ll be able to learn from our mistakes and insights throughout the journey.
Exercises, challenges, small steps
We’ll work on breaking down your daunting and hard-to-grasp goals into small steps. Between our calls, you’ll complete thought-provoking exercises and personalized challenges. These will help you stay in motion, collect wins and keep up your motivation. By the time you finish the program, small steps will add up to significant progress.
Purpose Prototyping is like a puzzle
The whole is made up of a lot of small pieces. Not everyone will have an AHA moment with every single task or program element. This is completely natural, as we’re all different and are in different life situations. However, we CAN guarantee that you’ll have ample opportunity to gain new insights, ideas and connections to help you solve your challenges.
Individual responsibility
The program strongly builds on your sense of responsibility, meaning it’s up to you to take advantage of the opportunities offered. It will work as long as you do the work. You will get the most out of our time together if you take care of yourself, put energy into completing the exercises and also pay attention to keeping your “PP karma” in balance (that is, giving back at least as much as you receive from your peers).
Here’s everything you’re getting
Knowledge base
We’ll share with you everything we’ve learned over the years about work-life planning, change management, entrepreneurship, using your strengths and developing habits. You’ll gain life-time access to all materials (videos, workbooks, etc.) so you’ll be able to refer back to them as many times as you want after you finish the program.
Mastermind groups
During the 12 weeks, you’ll have weekly calls with the same small group of 6-8 people. We carefully consider the composition of each group. You’re guaranteed to be with people who are a good match for your personality and challenges, but can also give you new perspectives and insights. We’ll both support and push each other out of our comfort zones.
Workshops
Some of the weekly calls will be organized as workshops. We’ll teach you the theory and practice of thinking like a designer and building prototypes, and also address the emotional side of work/business. You’ll have everything you need to counter the internal resistance that tends to come up when taking courageous action.
1-on-1 coaching
You’ll have access to a 60-minute private coaching session at a time of your choosing. If you ever get stuck, this is a great opportunity to receive personalized help from a trained coach outside of the group meetings.
Professional help
As facilitators, we’ll always be present during the calls, lead you through the process, and share our knowledge and experience. You’ll also have access to a private online group space where you can ask questions, find motivation between calls and connect with other group members.
A group coaching experience
You’ll receive the foundations of coaching through a series of videos, and by the end of the program, using questions to guide yourself and others will feel natural. Anytime you come up against a challenge in your personal or professional life, you’ll be able to come back to these tools to help you move through it a lot faster.

FOUNDER & MAIN FACILITATOR
Kata Mórocz
Purpose Prototyping has been one of my favorite projects since 2020. I believe that if 6-8 inspiring people come together, there is no way we cannot solve anything. For me, Purpose Prototyping proves how much value and power it can provide when people who feel similarly stuck decide to tackle challenges and questions together, sharing their feelings and thoughts, and supporting each other along the way.
Self-reflective exercises, deep conversations, continuous support, and small steps taken every week ensure that you shape your life with clear goals and confidence, moving in a direction that feels authentic to you.
The program was also inspired by my own journey, as I am constantly in a state of redesigning. I transitioned from law to organizational development, and as an entrepreneur, I understand that constant adaptation is inevitable. Over the years, I have accumulated a wealth of tools and coaching tasks that can help you pinpoint exactly what you want and where you want to go next. I am also here to support you emotionally, both in group sessions and individually, through this shift.
Purpose Prototyping is not solely about which company to send your CV to next. We aim to help you understand yourself—your needs, demands, strengths, and values—on a deeper level. A clear vision will provide you with motivation and peace of mind, and it will also help you recognize opportunities that you might not have noticed before, but are now within arm’s reach. Many Purpose Prototypers have found greater satisfaction in their situations, even without making major changes. Through the program, several creative careers have emerged that we didn't even anticipate at the outset, but they aligned perfectly with what was important to the individual.
I believe that when we feel tension in our work, it's about much more than just the position. What we're seeking is a sense of authenticity: How can I create value by leveraging my own strengths? Where is my place in the world? Where do I truly feel like myself?
I can't wait to work together and help you see that there are many more possibilities around you than you think, and that those seemingly audacious dreams may not be so far-fetched after all.

On my 30th birthday, I decided that I would be happy, free, and impactful. But how? The infinity or finiteness of possibilities can be equally frightening, and the internal and external expectations and emotions weighing on us often prevent us from clearly seeing our strengths, priorities, and the next step.
The past few years have been a period of constant change for me as well. Alongside my work in the field of law, I began working on music project development and supporting the careers of young musicians while dividing my time between two continents. The Purpose Prototyping program helped me honestly face the question of what my true values are and how I can best use my time and talent to live and work in harmony with them (and avoid burnout). I found that nothing motivates me as much as helping others lead an authentic, purposeful, and balanced life.
Since then, I have been working on this as a coach, mentor, and trainer in various fields in Europe and North America, and I am excited to soon be creating together with a new PP team for 12 weeks, where we will get to know your stories and questions and support you in finding your unique path. All of this happens in a supportive community of like-minded and path-seeking individuals. If you are looking to change your career or your current work but don't know where, when, or how, or if you feel something is missing, then you are in the right place.
Once you become a purpose prototyper, you always remain one. This framework helps you overcome obstacles even after the program, providing a structured approach to problems and the freedom to ask questions of yourself and others. My greatest hope is that you will carry this mindset with you.
FACILITATOR

My biggest motivation is to develop my own personality and through that, help others develop theirs. For as long as I can remember, I have been constantly seeking opportunities for growth. I have always seen many goals ahead of me, participated in various trainings and programs, and it has been interesting to realize that this is a never-ending process: there is no such thing as "finding yourself." However, you can find the tools, tasks, ways of thinking, or people that help you gather information for the next important step.
One of the most important things for me is that I have been able to learn to take responsibility for developing my own personality and prioritize understanding how I function and think. I want to support others in their own journey’s as well. To provide a safe environment with healthy boundaries where it is possible to experiment, ask questions, plan, learn, organize the information received, replan, and test again...
In my own path, I have found that to take steps at the right moment—whether it involves huge changes or seemingly small steps—it is essential to accept the possibility of making mistakes and to be able to stay stable and balanced, feeling comfortable and enjoying functioning even in "in between" states.
I feel most in my element as a generator of such development and redefinition processes when I can put the knowledge, experience, and connections I have acquired to the service of meaningful goals, based on shared values and vision.

We’ll reach out to you with new dates and/or some behind-the-scenes info soon.
We created Purpose Prototyping for you if…
- You’re looking for a career path that feels right
- You’re discontented with your current job: it’s not good enough to make you feel satisfied, but not bad enough to quit right away
- You feel that your dissatisfaction with your job is affecting other areas of your life
- Your job drains your energy instead of replenishing it, and you often find yourself feeling exhausted at the end of the day, questioning how you could become more energized
- The job situation is not that bad, but you know you’re capable of more than what you’re currently doing, and you want to explore more exciting opportunities
- You enjoy what you do, but you tend to overdo it. You want to reach a state where your passion for your work does not consume your entire life and burn you out
- You know you want to go from an employee to a full-time entrepreneur, and want to prepare for this transition in a mindful way
- You have an idea, dream, or plan related to your work or business that excites you, but you need help to actually make it happen
- You already have a business or personal project and you’re looking for strategies, professional support and a community to help you take it to the next level
- You know what you want to do, but imposter syndrome keeps holding you back
- You have no idea what you want, what your strengths are, and feel completely lost when it comes to your career
If you are not sure if this is for you, we’re happy to have a 20-minute phone call with you to discuss your challenges and what the program can offer to make the decision easier for you.
Purpose Prototyper stories

I wholeheartedly recommend the Purpose Prototyping program to anyone who has even the slightest question about their career path. In my case, not only was the supportive environment beneficial, but the unconventional homework assignments also brought about a big breakthrough. By the end of the program, I gained the courage to "dive into" my long-term plans and believed that I could achieve success through small steps. We were also able to uncover that the change I had been contemplating was much more important to me on a deeper level than I had previously thought. I feel that this certainty in relation to my goals is essential for success, especially while raising two small children! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this!

Before starting Purpose Prototyping with Kata, I felt burnt out and exhausted and was searching for my place in my profession. I had ideas and goals, but I had no idea how to achieve them. I was afraid to take steps, didn't trust myself enough, and was impatient. Kata and the group helped me a lot to recognize my strengths and weaknesses and to take not only the first step, but also many others. 6 months have passed, and many things have changed within me and around me. I am very grateful that they helped me overcome the obstacles I generated myself!

I joined the program primarily in search of balance in my job. I received much more from Purpose Prototyping than I expected at the beginning. The power of the community, the weekly calls, and the challenges and exercises took me much further in my thoughts and professionally than I dared to hope at the beginning. Kata's expertise and patience brings out the best in everyone and encourages the necessary changes and actions at all times. We truly formed a mastermind group around career and self-development topics with the participants. I met many intelligent and loving people during the program who inspired each other to change. I recommend it to anyone who wants to develop their career, create a vision for the future and not only plan but also embark on the path of implementation.

When I started the course, I had a job that I had been stuck in for too long - it was comfortable, but it wasn't going in the direction I truly wanted. Purpose Prototyping helped me understand that I didn't have to accept this state of affairs and that I didn't have to wait for the perfect job, I just had to move out of this familiar comfort zone that was preventing my development.
Purpose Prototyping helped me realize that I needed to change and by the last session of the training I was already signing in from Berlin, where I had a new job. It was a big step that I owe mostly to PP. Not to mention that I got to know interesting, colorful people who continuously inspire me and still help me when I need a little encouragement or another perspective.
The only thing I regret is that I can’t do Purpose Prototyping again. It was motivating to see how the exercises and the safe community that Kata created helped me understand how to move forward and where to go in my career path. Whatever shapes up, I know that I can rely on the knowledge and network that Kata provided me with for the rest of my life. Thanks to Kata, things are still shaping up within me, but I can handle situations much more consciously and I can see the connections, it's all thanks to Kata.

When I started the Purpose Prototyping program, I already knew that I wasn’t in the right place with my career. I was working on something that I couldn't see the purpose or value in. I was standing there, without tools, filled with fear of change.
During these three months, I learned a lot about myself while we became a community that not only provided security but also motivation for each other. I received tools that I can use to re-evaluate my opportunities and goals at any time. Thanks to the program, I became an active job seeker and prepared countless versions of my resume. They gave me the courage and momentum to start doing things that give me energy.
After the program, I still needed another three months to make the change with the accumulated tools and motivation, as well as the support of the community. Then it took me another two months to accept that the first job is not necessarily the best job, but at least it was a job. Then I realized that applying for a job twice that you really want is not embarrassing. In fact, when you pick up the phone nearly a year after the change and the company offers you the position that you wanted so much, you realize that nothing is embarrassing. Because every small step that you took day by day counted. All the interviews, all the resumes, all the seemingly unnecessary conversations, all the blog posts and articles you read, the course you took. Everything.
The truth is that the program and Kata are not going to tell you when, how, and where; but they will give you everything you need to start. Additionally, during the weeks, they will build an inner motivation that, when you feel on a gloomy winter morning that you want to leave this change to hell, it will tell you that it doesn't matter what you do today for the change, just keep going!

The Purpose Prototyping program is the best thing that could happen to someone who is on a journey of self-discovery. When I started the program, I was trying to choose between 2-3 master's programs, and I could envision several very different career paths for myself. The program helped me to clarify what I truly want and what fits me best. We received a lot of tools and support during the three months, for which I am very grateful.
What I would like to highlight is that in the program, we had the opportunity to get to know many people who were in similar shoes, and just the knowledge that I was not alone in this journey was comforting. It was great to see how others were getting closer to their goals, and the unconditionally supportive, honest and motivating community helped a lot. I looked forward to meeting our group every week, and I met some fantastic people.
Kata's program is designed to give us visible results every week, we got exciting tasks, but it was never rushed, and everyone could progress at their own pace. Kata guided us throughout the program with endless attention, professionalism and patience, always taking into account the current needs of the group. I would confidently recommend the Purpose Prototyping program to anyone who is in a similar situation, it is absolutely worth the investment of money, time and energy.

About 10 years into my fitness-wellness business, I felt stuck. It no longer sparked enthusiasm, and I lacked the energy to invest more into it. I yearned for a calmer environment where my private life and family could take precedence over my work. Kata's program is unique and extremely well-structured. It helped me discover what inspires me every day, fills me with energy, and highlighted my strengths that I can rely on and build upon. Words cannot express how much these months of intensive internal work and the magical team assisted me. We were able to support each other in a truly accepting, vulnerable, and intimate atmosphere. I am deeply grateful; thank you!

What did Purpose Prototyping give me? In my case, I didn't have a specific goal I wanted to achieve by the end of the 12 weeks. It was more important to gain a better understanding of myself and my preferences, and to outline possible next career paths for myself. Not only did I achieve this to the maximum, but I received much more than that: a community that gave me enormous motivation and inspiration for everyday life and my already well-accustomed work. I still miss it to this day. This is the main reason why I recommend it to anyone who feels even a little confused, bored, or burnt out at work: the community gives you a fantastic boost, which may make you enjoy tasks you previously considered boring.
Eszter
cultural manager, trainer
After years of tirelessly going round and round, looking for a way to curate my projects in a manner that would make me feel happy, free, and useful, it became clear that I wasn't going to be able to do it alone. I had been following Kata's work for a long time, so I was sure she would be able to help, but I was averse to the group format - until our first session together. One of the program's strengths is definitely that it attracts "goal-seeking" people, who then become each other's inspiring masterminds, sometimes painfully honest mirrors, and definitely their main cheerleaders. Structure is always important to me, and Kata led us along a well-thought-out path, within a framework, but always in a customized way, giving lots of freedom. In addition to better self-awareness, a clearer vision, and concrete career decisions, we also take away a set of tools from the program that will enable us to look at obstacles and plan our next steps with a different perspective in the years to come.
Choose the package that suits you best

FAQ
How much time will I need to participate?
You can expect an average of 4-5 hours per week (2 hours of group coaching + 2-3 hours of individual work). This can be more or less depending on how much you put into it.
Among previous participants, we’ve had people who only had time to come to the weekly calls to take advantage of the group’s power, people who only did the tasks they felt would give them the most benefits, and people who organized extra sessions, conversations and challenges for themselves because they were so motivated by the program.
If your work is overwhelming and you’re struggling to find balance, it’s completely understandable if an additional commitment seems scary.
To be a Purpose Prototyper means that from the many opportunities offered throughout the program, you choose what fits best for you, what you focus on, and what you are going deeper with. The facilitators and the community will be there for you whenever you need support. In our experience, such an environment can be especially helpful when you’re going through a difficult time.
When and where will we have the weekly calls?
The calls will take place on weekdays from 6:00-8:00 PM (GMT+1), on Zoom. The day of the weekly call will be chosen by the participants.
It won’t be possible to join in after that. Please schedule your application so that the 20-minute introductory call can also be completed within the deadline.
If you’re sure you want to join, it makes our job a lot easier if you apply as soon as possible (so that we don’t have to be on the phone non-stop for two days before the deadline 🙂).
What if I can’t attend all of the sessions?
If you can’t attend one of the group coaching calls, we’ll send you a recording after the session. Plus, the facilitators and the community will always be available to you to help pick up the threads.
Why is the program online?
We want to make it possible for you to join wherever you are in the world. We’ve already had participants signing in from Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. Based on experience from the previous three rounds, the same strong and lasting bonds can develop between members online as in live sessions.
What if I want out of the program during the 12 weeks?
The program is designed in a way that it’s common and completely normal to feel lost when you’re right in the middle of it. If that happens, there’s no need to worry. It’s also beneficial for the whole group if we can support each other from start to finish.
Of course, if something unexpected happens or if you really feel like you aren’t where you’re supposed to be, we’ll find a flexible solution. But please keep in mind that we are looking for participants who are ready to commit to the entire length of the program.
How is Purpose Prototyping different from private coaching or business mentoring?
We strongly believe in the power of the group: we can pull each other up, support each other, “push” each other into the pool, and hold each other accountable for progress. And we think it’s much more fun to work as a team. It provides comfort and emotional support to feel that others are in a similar situation as you. You get to see things from different perspectives AND get relevant coaching questions from the facilitators.
I’m interested in the program, but working in a group feels uncomfortable…
As we mentioned earlier, there are many advantages to being part of a group when it comes to this type of work. There have been several participants who felt the same way at the beginning, but by the end of the program they were surprised by how much they were able to open up.
If joining the program appeals to you and you’re curious about what it’s like to belong to a truly open and inspiring community, to brainstorm with people who have similar values but are still completely different from you, to cry and laugh together (sometimes literally), then we welcome you with open arms.
